These doors were salvaged as factory seconds, and we hung them as sliders for a feeling of openness in this small space. I covered the glass with hand-made paper for privacy. Formerly a garage, the new studio/bedroom and bathroom/laundry feature a local big leaf maple floor (leftover scrap from Green Mountain Woodworks in Talent, OR), recycled denim exterior insulation, and surprisingly beautiful hand-applied natural plaster walls. The new trim was salvaged from the leftovers of a custom cedar home construction. Built with James Haim/COB Together.
